upgrade from nas-r3

Hi, I've got an old installation of open-e nas-r3 16TB (it says on the flash drive) which appears to have got corrupted . . . I'm wondering, if I install dss v6 on a usb pen drive, and boot the system up from that, will dss v6 pick up the existing RAID config? Or will it all go wrong?

You will be fine to use the V6

Just make sure to set the V6 for 32bit mode as the NAS-R3 is only 32bit and the Default for V6 is 64bit.
