REQ: best practices for setting up multiple LUNs in Fiber Channel

Hi all! Im looking for some assistance in setting up multiple LUNs for a lab environment.

Here is the desired configuration:

8 LUNs at x 100gb each
Students can only access their LUNs
2 FC ports (both set as targets)


What im not clear on:

Do I make 1 group and place all the LUNs in there?

Do I make 1 group per LUN?

WWN aliases: will there need to be a separate alias for each user?


Sorry if my questions arent the best, im in a bit of a rush and very new to this. Any best practices would be appreciated. So far Im loving Open-E!

If the desire is to restrict a LUN per student, each should be in it's own private group. Otherwise each student may see all the LUNs and that could be a problem.
