Our main NAS has recently failed, as it couldn't boot anymore. After investigating, we discovered that the motherboard was faulty. The specs were as follows:
The system booted up, took some time to recognize the new hardware I guess, then started working just like it used to do before, but the network transfer speed dropped to a mere 12-18 MB/s. This is really bad as we need to backup the whole 13 TB of data in it, and that will take forever this way. The only thing I can think of right now is that the NAS-XSR we're running is still configured to boot the system as single CPU, which it isn't anymore, but this seems totally unrelated to me.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
