iscsi failover "checking status of both nodes"

Have setup two DSS according to installation description pdf file with iscsi failover.
twelve logical volumes each 200GB (therfore twelve replication tasks),
four iscsi targets, each three volumes.

Even without iscsi failover rebooting the primary causes ten of twelve replication tasks
failing on new boot. Must start replication tasks manually.


All tasks startet and consistent.

Activating isci failover in this environment shows in failover status on primary

Service running OK
Node status primary/active
Ping node OK
Communication via

eth3 OK
bond0 OK

Task status shows 12 tasks running

BUT:

Section Failover Manager NEVER returns from
"Checking status of both nodes ... please wait"
so all buttons start/stop/manual failover are "greyd" and unusable.

Any hints ?
Reboot of which one ?
Need logs ?
