Is there a help file for the Extended Tools in the console?

I want to delete a volume group, but am very nervous about making a mistake!

I want to know what a menu option is going to do before I select it!

It will give you the option to select which volume to delete.
note that you will lose the data stored in the volume you select.

not sure what you want to do but:

There is another option "remove contents of unit" this will erase entire raid array
(delete everything)

If you have a spare computer, download DSS lite and test the functions on a test (single) drive
