External Disk Trays FC Attached

Hi,

Has anyone installed OpenE on a controller unit with a external disk tray? i have some older SAN xiotech hardware and do not have the appropriate software to match so was wondering if OpenE would see the disk tray if installed on the controller... Essentially the xiotech hardware is just a server with a HBA attaching the disk tray.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated........ Not to sure how this technology works whether its the hardware or software that connects the controllers to the trays!

In case anyone is interested.. i insatlled today succesfully. i can see all the drives in the external disk tray..... great news
