Adaptec storage Manager not working.

Model: Data Storage Software V6
Version: 6.0up10.8101.3719 32bit

Adaptec storage Manager version 6.10 and 6.40

Adaptec controler 5405


I tried to access the raid tools using adaptec manager for the first time after upgrading to version 6 and I got the following message "failed to connect to host such and such due to incompatible versions"

I then proceeded to upgrade my client to 6.40 thinking it was were the blame laid, but i still get the same error message.

Am I the only one? I tried to look for a similar issue on the forums but couldn't find anything.
