Adaptec 5805 - No Volumes Found

Anyone have any luck getting DSS to see the available disks to create volumes on using this RAID card?

I have 8x 750GB SATA disks in a RAID5... I was able to create a 2GB Primary partition using the Software installer and I was able to install DSS and make it boot from there.

But... When I go to create a volume group, it says "No units found"

Any ideas?

When I run CFDisk on the Software installer I see:

/dev/sda Size: 4496813.98 Serial #: 63D327A7

So... it would seem to me, thats what would be present when I actually boot the DSS.

Right?

Are you starting DSS in 64 or 32 bits mode?
