Hello,
Details:
The main data share is about 400gb.
I want to setup a replication task every 10min. to the replication destination (jbod) which
is currently empty.
Question:
How to calculate the snapshot size for the initial replication task?
Is it necessary to make initial sync eg. by hand?
Best practice just for the first sync?

Snapshot size can be 10-12% of the total size of the NAS logical volume 48GB or 3 times the amount of changes or new data that will be written to the volume so if it is 10GB then have a 30GB Snapshot - See link below for more information on how Snapshot works and how to determine the size of the Snapshot.

I tried it, if I have source data with eg. 10 gb and I want to setup a replication process (first time), it seems to be necessary that the first snapshot size is equal to the source
(In this example 10gb). If it's not equal the snapshot gets an overflow and the initial replication will fail. My main question was if there is a common best practice to get the data to the repl. destination using Open-e for the first time, after that I know how snapshot works....
