could not connect to target

i have assigned static ip address to eth0, i could not able to connect from my home laptop
it says , Autentication failed ,
i could able to ping this ip address.
i am thinking it is time out of sync so
i did syn to NTP time.windows.com which is default in windows so i have given same time.windows.com in storage box . but still no luck.

please advice me .

Is your browser have certificate to deal with that? if not, please read the following:

Also did you check that the Time sync between your system and the Server are the same?
yes the NTP sync that you choose is a default, but is it the same on the server?

Also are you using CHAP on the server?
