No units found

Trial version of DSS v6

ARC-1220 raid controller.

Did Setup | H/W Raid. Raid set and volume created.

Setup | S/W Raid gives error, No units found.

What do I need to do to correct this?

you have already set up HW RAID.....

can't use both..

can you create logical volumes now ? Configuration-->volume manager..

and where is DSS booting from ? what media?

Booting from USB.

Have you tried to press "Rescan" button?
I see that your H/W RAID is still initializing. Please wait until it's finished before creating a volume group.

H/W Raid finished initializing.

Tried rescan, still getting "no units found"

Ah, the glorious reboot solved the problem. I can see units now.
