Snapshot question

Hi folks.

If I create a snapshot volume will it be globally over ALL of the other volumes or is the snapshot only limited to the volume it is created on.

i.e.
I create a volume VG00 and assign all of its for a NAS storage
I now create a new volume VG01 and assign 50% of it for snapshot use.

Will this work.. or would I need to do this

Create VG00 and assign 75% to the NAS and the other 25% to the snapshot

and the same for all other drives.

You will need to create a Shapshot for the Volume that you are assigning to the Logical Volume - so Create VG00 and assign 75% to the NAS and the other 25% to the snapshot for that NAS Logical Volume.
