HP ACU on DSS v6
Dear Colleagues and Users,
i'm a newby of open-e \ DSS but i have to understand and solve a problem for my company:
1)

how can i install\reinstall\repair HP ACU on DSS v6 ?
(HP X1800 with Smart Array P812)
* from web interface i cannot access (SETUP -> H/W Raid) to HP Smart Array, "please use console management tool (HP ACU)"
* from console, with C+A+R i can see "1 - HP Smart Array" but when i click "ok" DSS try to launch HP Array Configuration Utility CLI but won't work:
sometimes i see a message like "libqlsdm: INFO - Assigning lib instance number to 0"
(it's too fast to read it correctly).

i have 2 disks broken, how can i check in which raid these broken disks are configured?
we substituted one disk with a new one, how can i check if raid has been rebuilded or not?
(the green light on disk is still blinking intermittently as the same way we put new disk in enclosure)

There should be a CLI manual for the HP RAID controller, did you contact HP support team ?

The manual for ACU Client is available on internet, but there is no reference for DSS!
On anoter DSS v6 server i can have access to ACU CLI command line, on the server i have the problem with disks the ACU CLI does not start....
No information or articles on internet.... how can i have support?

To use HP smart array tools, you need to use the RAID management CD as the RAID BIOS does not support LUN management.

excuse me again, but i cannot understand:
1) the HP smart array tools i can download is only for windows\linux
2) on another DSS v6 i can start HP ACU CLI (command line) and perform the check, but on the DSS with brokwn disk the HP ACU CLI does not start, and i would repair the installation
3) i cannot restart the storage, is in production.
so, what could i do?
