Data deduplication implemention

Hello!

Does Open-E development team have plans to implement data de-duplication in Open-E DSS ? I think it is very actual now, when the storage disk price is increased by 50% or even more.
According to Seagate, HDD shortage will last until Q4 2012 .

Maybe it can be integrated with Open-E DSS ?

I would love to see dedup support in Open-E.

We are working on this :) - ETA is next year, no exact date as to the release of this feature but it is to be ready next year.
