Slow replication speed with 10G

Just created a new system with 10 Sata drives in a raid 10 array. Have a Myricom 10g link point-to-point (no switch) with my second DSS for replication. Jumbo Frames have been enabled. Have a 2.6 tb and a 2.0 tb logical volume replication task and set both of them to 350 MB for the replication speed.

Started the tasks and am I'm only averaging about 33MBs on each task. I have gotten better speed then that with a 1G replication link. Where do I start looking to resolve this. Was expecting much better perofrmance then this.

Look at your RAID settings, and make sure you have caching enabled all around.

On an LSI 9260 controller is the cache supposed to be

Direct
or
Cached

Some of the open-e videos show it set to Direct and that what I have.

Also wondering about this Option:

Disk cache policy: Mine is set to "Disk's Default"

-write policy: write-back caching
-read policy: Adaptive <<'read ahead' can be better to force it on>>
-Cache Policy: Cached
-Disk cache policy: Enabled

Hey, got it up to 200 MBs!!

In addition to making sure the settings were set as above, I had to stop the replication tasks and restart them. It appears that once the tasks start they use whatever settings you had at the time of kickoff.
