Boot problem after system hang

had to reboot the system after I got messages about out of memory and swap space.

after reboot of system, and after the text : loading.... (no Percent count up) the system goes to prompt #
this happens without any error messages.

I've checked /var/log
initrd.log witch is the only log file in the dir. at the end it says : LIVECD : an error have occured this should never have happened , press CTRL+ALT+Delete

are there any other logs that can help ?

DSS version is b3518 and there is a USB dom on the motherboard witch I've Checked for system corruption with Checkdisk in an windows machine

how to recover from this ?

Reinstall the system from the zip file, and consider new boot media.

Problem solved, new boot media in use, only problem now seems to be slow respond to the offline avtivation file request that was sent to activation@activation-key.com
license is currently expired so no access to the files on the server
