Slow NAS backups using Backup Exec 2010 R3

Hello,

We recently added some NFS shares to our Open-E DSS V6 server (6.00up97.6335). When doing full backups of the shares with Backup Exec 2010 R3 we notice that as the backup job progresses, the throughput decreases.

For a backup job on iSCSI targets, throughput stays at around 1,800-2,000 MB/min. NAS backup jobs start at 1,600 MB/min, but quickly go down to 400 MB/min to as low as 40 MB/min.

Is there an issue with the backup exec agent?
