Power saving features

Hi, I am looking for a replacement NAS, and considering open-e.

I am specifically concerned that LSI decided to disable the ability to spindown logical volumes in new controllers and new firmware.
This is very annoying to me as I discovered only after upgrading a controller, and found none of my volumes going to sleep:

Can somebody point me to documents detailing what power saving options and drive spindown options are supported?

In the DSS V6 or V7 GUI you wont have this option only from the CLI from the DSS Console using the CTRL ALT R command to access the controller or using the MSM to make those changes.
