Installing replacement Global Hotspare

Hi - hopefully a simple one!
I have a 36 disk dssv6 server - 2 x 17 disk RAID6 arrays with 2 global hotspares.

One disk failed and one of the global hotspares kicked in and did its job fine .
I have now replaced the defective disk with a new one which I would like to make the second Global hotspare - this has been recognised and is showing as good in the H/w RAID.
However, under the Physical Disk Configuration it is saying that "some of the disk is foreign", and under Foreign Configuration Restore I have an option to Apply or Clear Configuration:0 and/or Configuration: all.

Please can you advise what steps I need to take to get the replacement disk showing as online so I can make it a global hotspare?

If the disk being replaced was from another controller it is picking up information and seeing a previous config. If it is a new disk then you should be able to just select by clicking on the Physical Drive in the "Create new logical disk" selection then click below next to the "Action" pull down arrow and select "New Hotspare for LD..." then apply.
