Software Update -> Upload File (iso) -> Error: File already exists

Hello forum,

something went wrong with the first try to upload the dss7.0up10_b7637.oe_i.iso to our NAS system. On the next try, the upload of the file failed with the error message "file already exists". The new version is not showing up in the GUI. How can I delete the corrupt or incomplete file from the repository? I tried it via console but can't see any file browser?

Two types of update files may be uploaded:
*.ISO - to perform a full product version update;
*.UPD - to install a small update.

Try to run the Repair Filsystem from the Extended tools in the Console Screen enter CTRL + ALT + X then once performaning this it will reboot, then try again also try with a different browser.

If the repair does not help, you may want to open a support case with the support team.

Thank you for your help. That didn' fix it. Tried it with Firefox and Opera after the repair action, still getting the error.
I wonder if there is no method to access the filesystem...

If you can plug the boot media to a windows PC, try removing the b7637 folder and then try upload again.

your suggestion about executing a file system repair didn't help. But I managed to create the bootable USB key and installed v7 today by booting from the V7 USB .
