I'm starting to plan out a rebuild and upgrade from DSS6 to DSS7. I would like to continue to use USB based boot media. Are there any recommended "industrial strength" USB devices that I can purchase for the new system?

I'm not sure I would consider any USB thumb drive to be 'industrial strength'.
A better choice would be SSD drive, or hard drive.
OK, any recommendations on a USB connected SSD drive?
Many are available... search eSATA/USB hybrid SSD.
Whatever you choose, be sure to get in the enterprise class for longevity.
