HP / Dell servers that work with Open-e

I am going to be testing some various models of HP and Dell servers over the next couple weeks and post my findings here. Before I get started I wanted to know if anyone has had success with HP or Dell servers if so what models?

I plan on testing

Any info or insight would be great!

We're looking to use open-e on a Dell MD1000, Perc5, and PowerEdge 1950.

Is this a good formula? Are there a few "best" formulas for open-e?

Some have reported that the Dell 1950 works with the External USB cable and we do support the PERC 5 but no information for the Dell MD1000.

dl385 with integraded scsi (lsi) works fine

dell 2950
dell 2850
dell 1950

all with percX work fine, too
