Hello,
Can we use the http proxy setting to activate the Open-E DSS Lite?
Thru the proxy I can update the antivirus database, but the User registration & Product activation are greyed out (even after reboot).
Opening the firewall-port is a no go (network admin is a little paranoid)
After the initial registration/activation of Open-E, do we still need a internet-connection to be open for licence validation?

HTTP Proxy will not work for the activation and or registration (we are looking into this with our R&D). Any possibly to ask the Firewall guy to open the tcp connections on 10444 to activations.open-e.com. After activation you do not need to be connected (only to reactivate, antivirus, ntp or mail).
