move iscsi to different server

we would like to move our iscsi to a different server. but all our home drives are located on the iscsi.
is it that easy to just plug the network connection into the other server, install the iscsi initiator software, configure it and edit our logonscripts to map to the folders from \\server1\share to \\server2\share? we don't have to worry about acl's etc...

all tips, hints, warnings,... are welcome!

(we just recovered from a dataserver crash so i'd like to be sure before we do this... ;-)
