Activation Problems

Hi all,

I want to try the free version Open-E DSS Lite. Everything works fine up to now, but
I have to activate the software. I tried different German-DNS-Servers (194.25.2.129, 195.50.140.178, ...) but I can´t activate the software. Only eth0 is activated and in the lan segment of my firewall. Traffic from inside to outside is allowed on all ports.
Error message:
Cannot connect to Open-E Server!

Where is the problem?

Double check that port 10444 is open.
maybe something else is blocking port
try to put server in DMZ, I have seen a few people do that and have it work.
