Hi,
Like to check whether the NFS version running on the latest R3 is NFSv4?
Does NAS-R3 support file lock at all?
We encountered the "unable to lock file" error when trying to access the NFS share from a Suse Linux 10 using NFS client.

NFS File Locking was fixed in release 5_0_up46_build_3088.
We only support NFS ver. 2 & 3.
Do you have "Insecure locks" enabled or disabled?
Sorry to jump in on this thread :o - we're running DSS (currently 5.0.DB47000000.3216), but I assume the NFS code is either the same or at least from the same code base.Quote:

We see no different behaviour even if I set the "insecure locks" flag for the shares.

Hello Jens,
Can you give us a detailed description, as well as the string you are using?
Thanks!
