DSS to DSS6 upgrade

Quick note for others that stumble across this issue also. I also experienced the same issue upgrading from DSS v5 to DSS v6. I exported the setup and configuration before the upgrade, re-applied them after doing the upgrade and it appeared everything was working. Until I went to look at the NAS shares and noticed they were all gone (but my RAID volumes were still there).

I went back and re-imported the "configurationg" backup, rebooted and low and behold all of the NAS shares were back! Looks like you need to import the configuration twice after the upgrade to sucessfully get everything restored.

Glad the second go was able to get it sorted, but this would indicate a problem with the file system or with the RAID.
A file system repair should be done from the console to be sure, and check the RAID health fom the controller. While your in the controller interface, check for latest firmware also.
