Physical tape drive ? which one?
Virtual Tapes?
Physical drive - PowerVault 114T which is a IBM Ultrium.

What To- said, and where are you having issues?
It does show up as a device, correct? pools? creating tasks?
Yes, but I can only label one tape!
If I try to lable another one, It doesn't work. With the error: It is already labeled.

General question how to label my 5 tapes:
I have to be physically in front of my tape device, insert the first tape, label it (open-e), eject, insert the next one, label it, etc. right?
I don't have a library. Just a tape drive.
No, I use the previous version, but regarding to the release-notes it shouldn't be the point.

single tape unit...... yes.
Each have to be labeled and you will have to be near it to eject.
OK. I will try it tomorrow.
So long - best,

Labeling works now, but It was necessary to erase and retention every tape..a bit weird.
