DSS V7 best backup option

Hi,

I'm looking for the best backup option for my DSS v7 ISCSI SAN. Actually i have a single volume of 2TB with 6 Xenserver 6.1 VMs.
Any suggestion please? Please note that we do not have enough economic resources to buy another server to install a full Open-E for replication.
I was just able to re-use an old server and Install on it DSS7 lite.

Is it possible to backup the DSS v7 (full) to a DSS v7 lite? how? is there any how to guide somewhere?

Various third party apps are capable of doing disk to disk backups. So you can go from your full version to your Lite version.
