I have noticed that the Target settings have different settings for iSCSI targets to what you normally recommend. It has maxoutstandingr2t set as 32, the issue I have is when I set the VMware hosts to match the target settings I can not set the maxoutstandingr2t to 32 as VMware 5.5 only allows a maximum of 8
The latest release has incorporated the values we are using in JovianDSS.
They are much higher in some aspects than before. Adjust to what maximums you can to match your vmware version.
But keep in mind, these are similar to the way jumbo frames work, in that the connecting system will ask for the negotiation and adjust to lowest value that will match.
