License problem

I'm trying to make a trusted storage platform. For this reason i used 6 disks total for two raid-1 sets. Each sets has 3 disks with one spare disk ready. So at the end i'm trying to come with two raid sets having capacity of 500 gb each but i'cant. In order to create it i use 6 x 500gb disks.

DSS Lite gives me a license error ;

Total Storage size exceeded license storage capacity. Please purchase ...

So licensed capacity is based on physical disk capacity is it ?

try creating smaller array and then add the hot spare
