Apply V6 License to Eval

Just finished updating my V6 Beta trial to the V6 update 4. It didn't go quite as smoothly as I would have liked to, but i think I'm back online. (I will send more details later)

Anyway, we purchased a couple licenses today and I want to apply them. I added it to the extensions and it says to reboot for it to apply? Is this true? I don't like always having to reboot these servers as they are running on production VMware vSphere. In fact, 2 of my 2008 domain controllers got a corrupt database from the fail over not syncing properly last night..

So, can these licenses be applied without a reboot? If not, what chances do I have that I will not run into issues like before? (iscsi failover not working, NIC renumbering, etc)
