Creating SWAP on external devices is blocked so no need to wory :)
I'm using Debian + xen 4.0
Try this one:
kernel = 'hvmloader'
image_name = 'DSS_Install'
vif = ['mac=00:16:3e:1c:e4:56, bridge=xenbr0', 'mac=00:16:3e:33:38:be, bridge=xenbr0', 'mac=00:16:3e:5b:65:24, bridge=xenbr0']...
Currently it is not possibly.
Ok, You can try change some tuning options. In console go to Hardware Configuration (ALT + CTRL + W) and choose "DRBD tuning".
Here you can find some info about available options...
hmm, I didn't know that.
Ok, could you try one more thing? Shutdown secondary machine and see if speed will also increase to 220 MB.
During creation of volume replication task you can set option: " Bandwidth for SyncSource (MB)". By default it's set to 40 MB. To change this value you have to delete this task and create it again.
Currently all replication tasks use only one NIC but You can create bonding and run replication on it.
I don't mean change ethernet card in server, I mean change ethenet card in configuration.
In pure xen you just add to vif definition 'model=e1000' in configuration file. I do not know how to do...
Probably you need to change ethernet card in XenServer.
Yes, it will
You won't, but making backup is always good idea
You need to stop failover and configure it again.
Removing replication is currently not available. It's bug in help message. Creating new tasks is also not possible. Starting tasks is possible with small update from Support Team.
Api still lacks...
It's not bug it's design decision... :) It's on roadmap so maybe it will be available in near future. You can also ask support to add new lv via Remote Support.
Don't try it. Async replication doesn't work as everyone expected and it won't be available in next DSS Release.
If you really want to try it, just delete old task and create new one.
Booting over network is not supported.
On Xen and VMware ESX it works fine
Delete all whitespaces from the begining and at the end and try again.
Hmm, but solutions is the same :)
Greg it's not the same error...
All versions are listed on the same site when you are getting error about free space. They are in form "System software update"
You do not have free space on your disk. Remove older versions and try again.
Hmm, so you are getting those warnings from vCenter or from DSS?
hugor99 you definitly configured it wrong. It looks like you didn't add replication tasks to failover.
What kind of warrnings are you getting?
To be able use software updates you need 1GB memory. Big volumes with replication likes using ram(it's described in helps).
Which services do you have...
