The controller is a AOC-SASLP-MV8, which is just the PCI-Express version of the aforementioned card.

I'm using a Supermicro backplane. Again - the controller reports the drive...

The drives on my server are detected by the SATA controller at boot. Open-e seems to detect the controllers (AOC-SAT2-MV8) fine... I just don't see any drives on the end of them.

Suggestions?
