It is a Intel SSD SC2MH12. I don't know if you can set it up to only read, I know in the old version of CacheCade it could only be used for reads.
Thanks

We did try the CacheCade Pro 2.0 software with a single SSD drive, and 6 - SAS 600GB 6Ggb 15K Raid 10. The SSD became a bottleneck for the drives. I think if we had more SSD's in a Raid 0 config it...
Now that 10G is becoming more popular it would be nice to have VLAN support so you can divide up a single connection. Do you think this will be supported at some point?
Thanks

We have the same issue, and are running the most current firmware. We are on 5626 DSS, and 3.140.15.1320 for LSI.
Thanks

We are currently using a script to do the backup like you suggest, but as you say it is slow, and the files are quite large. We are also looking at a new solution called PHDVirtual that is suppose to...
Do you expect to have this turned back on in future releases?
Thanks
Shawn.
I wanted to write and thank you for making a product that is so easy to setup for replication. We have two DSS boxes and two XenServer host, and I had replication setup within an hour. I have already...
Is there a way to do this with iSCSI? Can you point me to a document on how to set it up? The one I saw is for NAS.
Thanks
Shawn
Based on the setup above could you setup another DSS offsite and do replication to it at night, so we have a backup location? We would have a IPSEC tunnel between both locations setup by the routers....
I am wondering if you have some recommendation, maybe a document, on the best way to backup iSCSI based VHD storage repository? Currently we have two Xenserver host pointing to DSS setup in iSCSI...
Okay. Thank You.
I am in the process of trying to document out how my DSS systems will be setup with iSCSI failover, connected to two XenServers. Currently my DSS has a 10Gig CX4 connection to our switch, and our...
Do the above changes work on for XenServer 5.6?
Couldn't you add another field in the DSS Manger called description? That would make it easy for people in DSS to see what ethernet adapter they are working with. Just an idea? :)
Thanks
Shawn
Which VM template do you use. I tried other install media and the screen turns to black after selecting to load installer.
Thanks
