Hi enealDC,
good hint on the memory, but at the moment of the 4 GB less then 1 GB is used...so I dont think about a bottleneck in this area...?
On jumbos I get a decrease of throughput of about...
Dear Support,
I read in this forum about iSCSI tuning options in advanced settings at Open-E.
As these settings have to be matched with XenServer I am asking if somebody has recommendations /...
Hi there,
does anybody can recommend settings for the DRBD tuning options in Open-E as it is shown at http://www.drbd.org/users-guide/s-throughput-tuning.html?
We have
* 2 x TAROX ParX iSCSI...
Anybody any experiences? Think have to open a case...;)
I disagree with red...escpecially because of the inefficiency of data...
This will not work for
- regular basis backups
- need for differencial / incremental backups
- high amount of VMs / data...
Well...as I have just 3,7 TB total capacity and just 2 TB active in volumes...I should have much less then 3 TB a day...;)
AFP? For what...I always thought since Mac OS X AppleTalk is so what deprecated...why not NFS? Even SMB/CIFS is some kind of better then AFP in my understanding of the protocol
Thats why we've chosen our Windows DC servers. And we have two, and as I read both ping nodes must fail to perform a failover?
I was against switches as I wanted to put the ping node into the iSCSI...
Hi Forum,
some general question on the failover config for iSCSI.
Background:

Hi webguyz,
yes we do MPIO on eth2 and 3 and the double make sense for replication, BUT:
- the initial replication is finished
- the replication link on eth1 is a GBit link...so a peak of 80...
The build is 6.0up75.8101.5377 64bit
I attach the images I mean.
The auto-scale you mean is what I already know, but the values seem to be strange.
You can see eth1, eth2 and eth3.
Eth1 is Gigabit Cross-Link for replication
Eth2 and...
Dear *,
I've some issue with the naming / scale units of the network statistics of Open-E.
In my bandwith statistics I have
* title ethX bits/s
* scale maximum at 100M
That would say to me a...
Hi,
I read in a thread here that it might help to tune drbd config for getting better replication performance. I searched through all forums now but didnt get really actual or helpful results.

Well, I just learned that too from the open-e guys, but bonding will not help at all.
And it makes completely sense. In bonding mode the source is selecting one path - lets say per session. So if...
Hi *,
I am just trying around with volume replication, sync or async mode, and so on.
So I got all these mails about the state changes when a replication task is stopped or started.
This sounds...
