    What version of rsync does the latest DSS firmware include? If the answer is 2.x, is open-e considering upgrading to rsync 3? The incremental-recursion algorithm in rsync 3 gives much better performance with large file trees like ours, and it's been out for four months or so.

    Currently we are on version 2.6.9 and we will update to latest in next 3 releases.

    Is there a way for me to get notified via email when rsync is updated to 3.x?

    Also, I can't seem to download the release notes for the latest version of DSS.
