Volume Replication to same Server

Hello,

I want to setup Volume Replication to a second Volume on the same server.

I made 2 volumes (of same size) and set up one as Destination and the other as Source.
Then I entered "127.0.0.1" as Mirror server IP.
So far so good, but now I only see my Source volume, the box with Destination volume stays empty. Does any one know why?

Hey Photubias -

Open-E doesn't recommend setting up your volume replication this way - I would be very hesitant to configure it this way myself. The main thing is that it represents only a single point of failure. Your data would be much safer if you replicate to another server.

Yes, I understand that, but it would be a way to overcome the fact that changes (made trough iSCSI) are not visible by a 2nd user.
At least, I hope so...
