Hi,

Currently the tape pools are associated with tape slots on the tape autoloader.

Is it possible or is it planed to use the barcoded VolumeTag when available?

The internal backup tool already recognizes the barcode value as VolumeTags, so it should be rather simple to alow this as an option.


I would really like to organize my pools based on the VolumeTag independently of whatever slot that tape is located. I think it would be a very nice feature.
