    Latest Mac/Windows implementations use different encryption algorithms than before. Under Windows Vista you can change the encryption settings in the registry like here http://forums.windowsvistamagazine.c...post/2062.aspx. Have you already tested this ?

    Thanks for the tip, but we only use Mac OS X and XP, not Vista.

    Hi,

    was there finally a solution to this problem ? I have exactly the same problem on OS-X, but also on Windows.

    Any help ?

    We are working with Apple on this issue as soon as we resolve it we will have a small update or patch for this.

    Hi there,

    it is a quite old thread but did you finally fix it ? I have the same problem: Windows & Mac do not want to mount smb shares with external LDAP authentication.

    I have forgotten to say that our external LDAP is a Open Directory (MAC OS X Server).
