I've got it working. I rebooted and the card is now visible in Open-E.
I've created an FC volume.
I've assigned this to a FC target.
From the client machine (which also has QLogic card) I run the CLI command to query the targets:
scli -T
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HBA Instance 0: QLE220 Port 1 WWPN 21-00-00-1B-32-12-3C-FD PortID 00-00-E8
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Path : 0
Target : 0
Device ID : N/A
Product Vendor : N/A
Product ID : N/A
Product Revision : N/A
Node Name : 20-00-00-1B-32-0F-0F-F8
Port Name : 21-00-00-1B-32-0F-0F-F8
Port ID : 00-00-EF
Product Type : Device
LUN Count(s) : 0
Status : Offline
------------------------------------------------------------
As you can see, my client does see the Open-E server, but can't see any LUNs.
Querying the LUNs:
scli -L 0
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HBA Instance 0: QLE220 Port 1 WWPN 21-00-00-1B-32-12-3C-FD PortID 00-00-E8
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Target WWPN 21-00-00-1B-32-0F-0F-F8 PortID 00-00-EF
------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unable to query LUNs information of selected device!
Also I can no longer run the QLogic CLI on the Open-E server.
At the terminal, when I press CTRL-ALT-F I now get this:
1 QLogic Fibre Channel (no tool)
The too is now missing, how do I re-install it?
