How can I inrease data transfer rate

Dear All

I've build DSS 4T system with Intel PRO/1000 PT Quad port Lan adapter and Windows XP PRO with Intel PRO/1000 Quad port Lan adapter. they are connected with Acatel 6850-24 Switch.

I set trunk for DSS and Windos XP. I set DSS trunked as 802.3ad and Windows trunked as SLA, but I found the transfer rate always stay in 100MB/s, not 400MB/s. it's almost same rate as single GbE/s connection.

Can anyone give me a hand?

Hi Andy

With Bonding you are only increasing the throughput and not increasing the speed.

An example is having a 2 lane highway vs. a one lane highway.
The speed limit is still 55 MPH but you can have twice as many cars go by.
