    Default Iops

    Hi all,

Does anyone have some performance results for Open-e with some IOPS tests. What are the typical results for say a 12 disk SATA system? I have found some perf results on the forums site, but they seem to be for older software versions.

Will this not depend heavily on the hardware configuration? I.e CPU Memory RAID soft/hard controller network cards and configuration etc? Maybe we should start some kind of performance database for comparisons?

    Dear nightmare99,

Its hard to publish IOPS and/or MB's numbers, as performance variouse a little bit between networks and platforms.

Tom's hardware website publish a performance test a while ago, you can check it.

Also, you can use IO Meter to test the perfomance at your environment.
