    Default Failover w/o Virtual IP?

Is it possible to implement an active/passive solution without the use of the virtual IP using an MPIO configuration?

It is designed with the intention to use the VIP only. There are so many other tests that we performed that this was never done. Though it looks possible to use 2 x Virtual IP's using the MPIO config.

When you say 2x virtual ips what do you mean?

I'm trying to have my cake and eat it to. I don't want to use the virtual IP. Id much rather have the initiator failover to the other path when it senses the need to do so.

VIP's - Virtual IP Address and must use it with the Auto Failover. What I was thinking of was to create 2 Bonds one for each VIP then use the MPIO.
