    Default Errors from dss kernel

    Hello.

    Few days ago I've received e-mail notifications from our DSS server concerning kernel errors. Below are some of them:

    =====
    2009/03/05 07:45:14 kernel:exit_tx(425) 2096 1 -104
    2009/03/05 07:45:14 kernel:write_data(411) error -104 at 0x1bb0000013d0200:0
    =====

    I have received several messages like the above.
    Can please someone point me where do I have to look to get clear what's actually happening and whether these errors are critical for system/data or not?

    DSS software version is 5.0.DB49000000.3278

    Thanks in advance,
    Alexander Khimich

    Can you tell me if you are using iSCSI only or both NAS and iSCSI?

    We might need to see the whole logs but looks like some transmit errors. Send them to support@open-e.com

    We just installed the regular updates that the system downloads. I assume the kernel update you are referring to must be available on your ftp site. How do we get to it?

    Thanks
