Default MS clustering and non exclusive access

    Hi,

I want to use the Open-E box we have to setup MS Clustering with 3 nodes in an active/passive/passive setup. I wanted to know is it possible to setup the iscsi disk in Open-E as non exclusive so that they can be used for clustering in the manner I wish.

    Hope thats clear!

    Thanks!

We do have support for MS Clustering for Windows 2003 but for Windows 2008 we will have support for this in our next release due out this April or May.

You can test our latest version of DSS that will give you 60 days of usage from link below.

Thanks, we will be using 2003.

We already have one of the Open-E boxes :

    Model: Data Storage Server
    Version: 5.0.DB48000000.3251
    Release date: 2008-10-20

Is it posssbile with this version and if so, would you mind explaining breifly?

    Thanks.

Yes this works with this version as this does not require the persistent reservations like the 2008 needs.
