Default software update in live mode

    Hi,

I have 2 DSS servers running with iscsi failover. I'm wondering, how do I perform a software upgrade when both machines are in live mode?

I thought of this way: firstly upgrading the slave. After upgrading performing a reboot. Then a manual failover onto the slave.
After performing the manual failover I would upgrade the master server. After this, perform a reboot and then manual failback onto the master.

Is this the right way? Is there anything I do have to take care of?

    Thanks!

    Default

For the DSS update from build 3278 to 3511 you will need to schedule a maintenance window to update both at the same time because of the new release that we have.

So in short Stop the Failover replication service for both then shutdown the systems and update both then start up again and then start the service for the Failover replication.
    All the best,

    Todd Maxwell
