im not able to get a higher performance in iscsi. i only get about 80-90mb/s.
    I have 1 esxi4 and 1 dss6, each of them with 1x quad port intel 1gb/s
They are connected through a dell powerconnect 6224

i configured multipathing (every nic a different subnet) and turned on round robin
do i have to setup something in the dss?

    Hi,

I'm back to ESXi (tried ESXi 3.5 one year ago and getting a lot of problems not only with OpenE...).

Now i'm trying ESXi 4.0 again and it's working well (only replication is active on openE, not failover). I have good performance and VM is stable (Jumbo Frames are active on OpenE and Vmware vswitch)

Is DSS V6 a must have with ESXi 4.0 ? What about this IET / SCST options ?

    Thanks

    Nsc

IET can cause resets SCST wont and this is why we are pushed to have this for the DSS V6, DSS V5 we could not provide this due to many reasons.
    All the best,

about mpio iSISI, i followed this tutorial :

    http://virtualgeek.typepad.com/virtu...e-vsphere.html

It's working on my Vmware ESXi 4 (getting 2 patchs and traffic on both nic)

Which config i have to put on OpenE, currently i have a bond with blance-ALB and i get no perfomance improvment.

    Any idea ?
