    Default Performance

Is there a way to improve performance on these results ?

    hdparm -tT /dev/sdb1

    /dev/sdb1:
    Timing cached reads: 4340 MB in 2.00 seconds = 2169.25 MB/sec
    Timing buffered disk reads: 34 MB in 3.18 seconds = 10.68 MB/sec

Both SAN and client are connected on the same 1gbit switch.
The SAN has two nic's bonded and is running a Hardware RAID10 array.
    Bonding mode is balance-rr
    Switch is a Cisco 2960

No further optimalisations have been made....

Do you have cache enabled on your raid controller ?
