Atlanta DSS 5.0up61.7101.3513 doesn't show unit serial numbers
Hi all,
I just wanted to check if anyone else has this issue with the current Atlanta DSS. I have been struck now the 3rd time by this issue:
after a couple of days both of my DSS's don't show any unit serial number, neither will one of them show die disk's sizes. So in the the volume manager section the Unit manager shows this:
Unit S001 0.00 N/A in use, asterix01
Unit S002 0.00 N/A in use, TimeMachine
On my 2nd Atlanta host I getting the unit sizes (well, at least up to now)m while the volume serials just vanished today or maybe even yesterday already.
This also leads to the problem, that I am not able to make use of any newly attached unit, since without a serial number the unit cannot be used.
I do have an ongoing ticket with support for this problem, but since I am experiencing this the 3rd time on both of my Atlanta installations, I am curious whether I am the only one who has this issue.
